As amateur astronomers ourselves, we have become great fans of the documentary reporting style of Professor Brian Cox. We started this blog so that we could easily access all the latest news, articles and videos that appear on the web relating to Brian Cox. We thought we’d share this information with you too.
We are an unofficial Blog and make no representation for Brian Cox. We are merely fans and enjoy the numerous TV appearances he makes and are avid stargazers ourselves.
We first became fans through his TV series on the BBC ‘The Wonders of the Solar System’ in early 2010. This was then followed up by ‘The Wonders of the Universe’ in 2011. Both these BBC science programmes proved extremely popular and this led him to co-present the BBC’s Stargazing Live with Dara O’Briain. Many actually remember Brian Cox from his days as the Keyboard player in 80′s band D:Ream.
Professor Brian Cox
Brian Cox is actually a Particle Physicist and a Professor at Manchester University. His Wikipedia profile tells about his involvement in the ATLAS experiment in CERN. Most of us know this as the Large Hadron Collider experiment.
The main goal behind this unofficial blog is to help you find out all about Brian Cox in one place. Links to his YouTube videos, where to buy his books, news and articles and upcoming (as well as his past) TV appearances.
If you have articles you wish to share about Brian Cox and would like to publish them on this blog please do contact us. We will also blog about our own amateur astronomy and publish images that we take ourselves through our own efforts. We are amateurs but enjoy wrapping up warm on those cold clear nights inspired by Brian Cox and his TV programmes.
